On November 6, 2025, during Novus Knowledge Day, Globeknot was officially launched. After a period of preparation, we are now live and ready to take on our mission: to strengthen the knowledge society and safeguard democracy through facts and insight.
A counterbalance to hasty conclusions
We live in an age where the flow of information moves faster than our ability to verify it. When decisions must be made in a matter of seconds, we need a partner who has already done the groundwork. This is where Globeknot comes in—as an independent platform that explains our present by bringing together the voices of citizens with the current state of knowledge.
Our goal is to serve as a resource for citizens, the media, and policymakers. By presenting an accurate picture of the will of the people, we prevent the citizens’ voice from being misinterpreted by special interest groups that seek to create a “false will of the people” in order to advance their own agendas.
Global reach, scientific precision
Understanding the world requires both depth and breadth. Globeknot has unique access to global research capabilities through close collaboration with established players:
- Novus & Gallup Nordic: Through these commercial partners, we reach 100% of the Swedish and Nordic populations. All surveys are based on rigorous scientific methods, providing a solid foundation for our reports.
- Gallup International: Through this network, we reach 80% of the world’s population. This enables us to survey nearly every country in the world and analyze the differences and similarities in how we view the most pressing issues of our time.
When we combine this data with current research, we create an invaluable foundation for understanding the present—a prerequisite for making wise decisions for a better future.
The Way Forward
The business is initially being run by Torbjörn Sjöström and Olof Gränström. We are already working on Globeknot’s first project, which we look forward to presenting in the near future.
